Chris Vanderhook

Chris Vanderhook is Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of Viant Technology where he oversees and manages Viant’s day-to-day operations. He is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the company including Sales, Marketing, Ad Operations and Customer Support. 

For more than 2 decades, Chris, alongside his brother Tim, has steered Viant’s mission of automating the planning, buying, and measurement of advertising through technology and innovation. In addition to Viant, Chris also co-founded XUMO in 2011, one of the largest ad supported Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming services, which was acquired by Comcast in February 2020. 

Chris received a B.S. degree in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business from the University of Southern California. He is a serial entrepreneur, youth sports coach and resides with his wife Heather and their four children in Orange County, California.
